One such film is “Corpus Christi” by Polish director Jan Komasa.
“Corpus Christi” tells the story of Daniel (Bartosz Bielenia), a young man who has just been released from a juvenile detention center and dreams of becoming a priest. Due to his criminal record, he’s unable to enter seminary school officially, but he manages to deceive a small town community into believing that he’s an ordained priest and takes over their parish.
